Phytolacca specializes in dark, red, hot, swollen, sore throats with pain that shoots to the ear on swallowing and inflamed tissues with red streaks. This picture may also include hot tears, one-sided nasal, and sinus discharge, a dark red tip on the tongue, and machines all over. Phytolacca can be a relief to stiff joints with aching heels and shooting pains that 'fly like electric shocks'.The overriding emotion with all this may be apathy.
