1. Gelsemium
Great muscular weakness and tired feeling.Dizziness,dullness
and drowsiness.General depression from heat of sun.Occipital headache.Band like feeling around the head, Wants to
have the head raised on pillow.Double vision, Opression about
chest.Palpitation.Pulse slow when quiet,but greatly accelerated on motion.There
is a feeling.as of it were necessary to keep the heart in motion,otherwise the
heart’s action would cease.As a rule,the Gels,patient has no thirst.
2. Glonoine
A great remedy for congestive head ache, hyperemia of the
brain etc. Violent convulsions associated with cerebral congestion. Surging of blood to head and heart. Confusion,with
dizziness. Bad effects of sun-heat; sunstroke. Cannot recognize localities. Head
feels enormously large, as if the skull were too small for the brain. Laborious
action of the heart. Fluttering or palpitation, along with dyspnea. Cannot go
uphill. Any exertion brings on rush of blood to heart and fainting spells. Throbbing
in the whole body up to finger-tips. It is one of the best remedies for high
blood pressure, having in its Pathogenesis all the symptoms referable to a
tendency to sudden and violent
irregularities of the circulation, with surging of blood to the head and heart,
violent bursting headache etc, down to the full list.
3. Gridelia
An efficacious remedy for oppression and wheezing in
bronchitic patients. The sibilant rates are disseminated with foamy mucus, very
difficult to detach. Asthma with
profuse, tenacious expectoration, which relieves. Breathing stops when falling
asleep; wakes with a start, and gasps for breath. Must sit up in order to
breathe. Cannot breathe when lying down. Cardiac weakness. From its frequent use
one can lower blood pressure.
